Mixed Media Re-Creations: Re-imaging possibilities for Common Objects – K-5, Teen
>Meets: TUESDAYS 3:30 – 5:00 >Tuition: $110 >Materials Fee: NoneImagine constructing a house or city from paper clips, keys, wire, and twigs … the possibilities are endless … with a combination of technique, imagination, experimentation, and critical thinking. This session challenges students to reconsider the use of materials and media to create sculptures, paintings, prints, installations and anything else they can imagine. Working both collaboratively and independently, the sessions explore how “art-making” can transcend traditional ideas to utilize everyday materials, materials from nature, and art materials. Students re-examine found materials and combine them with more traditional materials to create original works of art.
